The Barn Chefs

About Us

The Barn Chefs are Sarah Woods and Luca Alvarez Molteni.

Sarah grew up in small-town Ontario and studied culinary arts at George Brown College before continuing her studies in Italy, where she met Luca. They have been traveling and cooking together ever since. Seven countries and eighteen years later, they adopted the joys of their lives, Kenyan-born Miriam and Matayo, and decided to put down roots in Coe Hill, where they continue to live, laugh, cook, and share their hand-crafted gourmet foods.

At The Barns Chefs we believe in good food, handcrafted with natural ingredients and created with passion.

Food made right can make the world a better place on many levels. That’s why we’re very particular about the types of food and ingredients we buy, manufacture and sell. In making good decisions, it not only benefits you, but also the farmers, the community and the planet.

We believe in being transparent and accountable to you regarding the principles we follow when selecting ingredients and producing the foods we manufacture and distribute.
